Terms and Conditions:

You can rent a star for the minimum of one year.
You can rent a triangle for the minimum of one year.
Renting a star for one year costs € 10, for two years € 20 and so on.
This is not only an unique idea but also new website. The success of it is not certain and you might have some doubts too whether an investment of € 10 is really worth the money. But in order to make your decision easier I will charge NOTHING for the first one thousand hotels and for the first year. During the first year you can decide whether you want to extend the rental or not, depending on the success of this website. This offer applies to the first one thousand destinations too.

The link represented by the star must lead to a hotel.
The link represented by the triangle must lead to an unique travel destination, a town or city, a national park, an ancient place of archaeological interest, a nice resort or just a site of an outstanding natural beauty.

Hotel chains can apply for more than one star, depending on the number of hotels they want to promote. But they have to pay for each single star and hotel. And they should not forget either that maybe not every hotel that belongs to the chain complies with the preconditions which allow you to rent a star.
If many hotels chains apply for many stars then I might eventually not be able to consider all hotels that hotel chains want to rent a star for. But depending on the size of the hotel chain the following rule should be considered: The more hotels a hotel chain has the more stars it can apply for.
If you want to extend the rental of the star for another year, no problem. If you do this within the year of the rental your link and star will stay on the map for another year automatically. If you do this after the expiration of the rental your link and star will have to be placed again. You could also lose the chance to rent the star again if other hotels take the chance to get the free star and all other stars are already rented.
If you want to extend the rental of the triangle for another year, no problem. If you do this within the year of rental your link and triangle will stay on the map for another year automatically. If you do this after the expiration of the rental your link and triangle will have to be placed again. You could also lose the chance to rent the triangle again if destinations take the chance to get the free triangle and all other triangles are already rented.
The hotel or luxury resort must belong to a high classification, four or five stars and higher (as described on Wikipedia), or it is a hotel of a lower classification with a good reputation (good and tasty food, friendly employees and clean rooms) embedded in a beautiful landscape or an interesting city.
The hotel should not have less than 3 stars.
If the quality of your hotel changes for the worse significantly within the year or years of the rental the contract won't be extended. But your star won't be removed until the rental contract expires. Visitors of this website should be sure that they find here quality hotels only.

Before the application is accepted and the link to the hotel is placed on the map it will be checked whether it accords to the conditions as described above.

If the link you provided is accepted it is not allowed anymore to change the content of the hotel-website into a different hotel than previously checked. If the homepage changes and shows another hotel within the year or years of the rental contract the link and the star will be removed and the money won't be repaid.

Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared (e.g. bank account), I will aim to get your link online within 24hrs but please have patience if things become stressful and many hotels apply for stars at the same time.

Note: In order to have a good apportionment of all one thousand stars over the entire world map I will give each continent a certain portion of all stars. In compliance with hotel density and population Africa would receive about 10%, Asia 20%, Australia/Oceania 5%, Europe 30%, North America 25% and South America about 10% of all stars.
